Juan Riboldi
President, Principal & Founder – Strategic Change Consultant

For over twenty years, Juan Riboldi has consulted with various corporations and leaders across the globe in organizational change, strategy execution and leadership development. Among his clients are companies like IBM, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Cox Communications, Cisco Systems, General Mills, the Blue Care Network, Costco, Nissan and many fast-growing Inc. 5000 companies. He has also worked with State and Federal Government groups at the Department of Energy, the Veteran’s Health Administration, and the Department of Defense.

Juan is the founder and president of Ascent Advisor and the author of “The Path of Ascent” and several articles in the field. He holds graduate degrees in Organization Behavior and Business Management from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University. More recently, he has pursued advanced executive education at the University of Minnesota and at Harvard University.

Dr. David Grau
Senior Advisor – Strategic Change Consultant

David Grau is an organization development consultant and executive coach with over a decade of experience in leadership and management coaching, organization and employee development and assessment, conflict resolution, and 360-degree assessments.

Dr. David Grau blends a unique background in medicine, the Federal government, and organizational development consulting. He completed a 25-year career as a commissioned officer with the U.S. Public Health Service. He was the Director of Training at the Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He received a dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a Masters in Educational Technology (with an emphasis on performance development) from San Diego State University. He also completed the Georgetown Organization Development and Leadership Coaching certificate programs. He has worked with multiple Federal government organizations, non-profits, and corporate clients including Marriott International, Dyno Nobel, Digital Gateway, Greenpeace USA, and General Mills.

Linda Linfield, Ascent Advisor Senior Consultant

Linda Linfield
Senior Advisor – Transformation and Communication Consultant

Drawing on her extensive experience in organizational transformation and communication, Linda has effectively coached high-level decision makers for over two decades. In her prior role as Vice President of Consulting Services at DecisionWise, Linda led the global consulting team and served as a member of the company’s Senior Leadership Team as it drove substantial year-over-year revenue growth.

Prior to her success as a management consultant, Linda served as Director of Culture Transformation for Novell. In this role and since, she has worked with leadership and management teams across geopolitical and cultural boundaries, including extensive experience in Europe, Asia, Australia, and throughout the Americas.

Linda’s career in the high-tech and healthcare sectors includes executive, mid-manager, and employee coaching. With expertise in Talent Management, Linda has extensive experience in 360-degree feedback, employee engagement, change management, performance management, and organizational communications.

In 2014 Linda was recognized by Utah Business as one of the 30 Women to Watch, an award recognizing 30 ambitious, powerful, and smart women who play integral roles in their professional organizations and in shaping their communities.

 Dr. James Pappas, PhD
Senior Associate Consultant -Education & Strategic Planning

For over 25 years, Dr. James Pappas has served at the University of Oklahoma in various leadership capacities including Vice President for University Outreach, Continuing Education and Distance Learning, Dean of the College of Liberal  Studies, and Professor in the Departments of Educational Psychology and Liberal Studies.

Prior to his work at the University of Oklahoma, he served as Associate Dean of Liberal Education, Associate Dean of the Division of Continuing Education, Professor of Educational Psychology, Director of Academic Counseling, and Director of Independent Study at the University of Utah.

He has also worked as a psychologist with the Veterans Administration, a faculty member at Indiana University, and an assessment officer with the Peace Corps.

 Wayne Parker
Senior Associate Consultant – City Planning & Management

Wayne Parker is the Chief Administrative Officer of the City of Provo, Utah and has served in that role since 2002.  As the CAO, he directs the day-to-day activities of Provo City government under the direction of the mayor.

Prior to his service in Provo, Wayne served for 8 years as the Director of Management Services for the City of Ogden, Utah.  Wayne also served as Ogden City’s lobbyist at the Utah State Legislature.

Among his important achievements in Provo have been his service as chair of Strike Force Prosperity that created and refined an economic development strategy for the City and chair of Provo Accelerated, a community visioning and planning effort to help the community take strategic advantage of being the second Google Fiber city in the U.S.

David Romney

David Romney’s passion for his clients’ success defines his career. For over a decade he has partnered with leaders from large organizations such as General Mills and NASA to fast- growing companies like Sundt Construction, Digital Gateway, and Rockwell. He is known for his strategic engagement in helping clients align their people, processes, and systems to achieve their desired results.

David’s career began at InsideOut Development, a training and development company focused on teaching coaching and team building skills to Fortune 500 leaders. In this role, he connected organizations to InsideOut’s GROW Coaching and executed on special projects such as researching knowledge management best practices for NASA.

Kevin Flood
Senior Associate Consultant – Library Planning

Kevin Flood is a consultant in the areas of public programs and executive development. During his career he concentrated on developing public programs centered on increasing the public’s access to the educational and information holdings of libraries and archives.

Kevin’s career path has concentrated in programs that have been in need of mission and operational evaluation and the changes necessary to keeping a program viable and mission driven. Critical to success in those endeavors was the understanding of the changing needs and demands of the programs’ funders and constituents. In his last 20 years of work at the Library of Congress, he acted as both a program director and an in-house consultant to many of the Library’s programs having public responsibilities. His various consulting assignments focused on creating operational effectiveness using strategic planning, change management, organizational realignment, staffing, and evaluation.

Paul Terry, SPHR
Senior Advisor – Strategic Change Consultant

Paul helps leaders around the globe develop their team management and strategic leadership skills. He coaches individuals to identify concrete action plans for sustaining and accelerating their levels of contribution. Paul has led numerous engagements with clients in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, food and beverage, and high tech industries. His work has included helping clients with solutions in assessment, selection processes, training program design, talent development and leadership succession strategies. He has led research engagements in the U.S., Brazil, and Asia on workforce demographics, behavior and contribution.

Paul has authored several articles in the areas of performance management and succession planning. Paul founded Paul Terry Consulting Group in 2013 after 20 years of working in corporate HR and with the HR consulting firm, Global Novations. Paul worked as division Vice President of Human Resources at Emerson and spent four years with Exxon in a variety of human resource roles. His background covers all aspects of human resources including experience in leading strategic human resource efforts in Europe, Asia and Latin America.

Leo Hopf
Senior Advisor – Strategic Change Consultant

Leo Hopf is the author of “Rethink, Reinvent, Reposition: 12 Strategies to Renew Your Business and Boost Your Bottom Line” which was named the book of the month by the Institute for Management Studies. He gives a dozen keynote speeches each year on strategy, decision making, and business renewal.

He has led hundreds of strategy sessions with CEOs, leadership teams, and boards of directors. He designed the decision making and strategic planning processes for five of the Fortune 100 largest companies. He has facilitated sessions with dozens of CEOs on behalf of two different industry associations. Mr. Hopf also works to build strategic bench strength in the next generation of leaders.
